Box Footwork Drill - TFA Fundamental Footwork

Box Footwork Drill
(TFA Fundamental Footwork)

Video summary:
Sifu Marcus Lovemore demonstrates the Transformational Fighting Arts fundamental footwork technique - The box drill.

Training Suggestions:
With the box drill remember to keep your footwork small and your weight on balls of your feet and not your heels. Make sure you always start and end in you on-guard stance. So do not get on your tight rope or collapse your stance. As you get better at this, speed up the pace. Remember this drill helps you practice your ability to transition with balance in any direction. I practice this in 3 minute rounds in both directions. Try 5 to start.

Good training,
Sifu Marcus
